The information we collect
When you book a tour with us, we will need to collect the information necessary to process the booking. Such information would at the very least include your name, e-mail address and passport details.
We will also collect information from you if you complete any other forms on our site or if you contact us with comments or specific requests.
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we will ask for your email address. We will use this to send you our newsletters and also to send promotional material. To remove yourself from this e-mail list at any time, simply click on the ‘unsubscribe’ link provided at the bottom of the received email and follow the instructions to be removed from the database.
Why do we need this information?
Travel service providers in India (hotels, airlines, etc.) need the exact name of the passenger as it appears on the passport to confirm the booking. Therefore, when you confirm your booking, this information will be shared with the selected third parties to process the booking.
If there are any parties who wish to provide you with information and details of products and services relevant to your interests, we will ask you first.
We use a third party service provider to accept payments by credit card. None of the information you provide about your credit cards is stored by us. We have no knowledge of or have access to your credit card details.
Third parties and Social Media
Please note that you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and any account information. Please be careful and responsible when you share this information.
In addition to the above, we may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, as requested by other government or law enforcement authority, or in the good faith or belief that disclosure is otherwise necessary or advisable including, without limitation, to protect the rights or properties of Good Food Journeys or when we have reason to believe that disclosing the information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing interference with our rights or properties, whether intentionally or otherwise, or when anyone else could be harmed by such activities.
Changes to our Policy
We may amend this Policy from time to time. If we make a change to the Policy, the revised version will be posted on our website. It is your responsibility to check the website from time to time in order to determine whether there have been any changes.
